Proud to share that leasing has officially begun at Las Brisas—our newest apartment community on California’s Central Coast. "Las Brisas was designed with intention—bringing together the comforts of modern living with the natural beauty of the Santa Maria landscape," said Ken McCarren, President of MBK Rental Living. "Our goal is to create communities where residents feel inspired, can unwind, and build meaningful connections with their neighbors. Las Brisas embodies this vision throughout every aspect of the community, both inside the homes and across the shared spaces."

Santa Maria continues to be a market we believe in, and we’re excited to build on our momentum here. Grateful to our teams and partners who helped bring this community to life.

Construction at Vintage Farms is moving quickly toward a Summer 2026 opening—and the community’s standout features are already taking shape. What sets Vintage Farms apart? A nature-centric amenity experience built directly into the land:

🌿 Expansive hillside views
🌿 Outdoor social nodes that connect residents to the landscape
🌿 Generous open space woven throughout the community

In a competitive market, this level of natural integration is a true differentiator—and one we’re proud to deliver with intention. More to come as we approach opening.

Today represents an important milestone for MBK Rental Living. We have completed the sale of Esperanza at Duarte Station, our 344‑unit, Class A community serving LA County. Esperanza stands as a strong example of our commitment to creating communities that enhance quality of life through intentional design, thoughtful amenities, and locations that deliver meaningful connection, opportunity, and convenience.

We extend our appreciation to Haseko Corporation, our joint‑venture partner, whose support and long‑standing relationship have been instrumental throughout the development of this community. We also want to thank the Berkadia team for their outstanding work on the transaction and Greystar for ensuring a smooth and professional transition. Most importantly, we are grateful to our MBK team whose expertise, dedication, and vision brought Esperanza to life as the vibrant community it is today.

🌟 Exciting Progress at Las Brisas in Santa Maria! Our team at MBK Rental Living is excited to share the latest progress on Las Brisas, our second community in the vibrant and welcoming city of Santa Maria. We’ve been honored to be part of this community, and we’re thrilled to continue contributing by bringing much needed, high quality housing to the area.

Construction is advancing quickly, and we’re preparing to pre lease in mid-February, with our official opening planned for early spring.

This recent aerial capture highlights the incredible momentum across the property — including our resort style pool nearing completion on the far end, set against beautiful natural surroundings that give the community a calm, open feel.

We’re also proud to have collaborated with the city to deliver a new dog park for both small and large dogs, as part of our commitment to enhancing the broader Santa Maria neighborhood. This public park space will be open to all Las Brisas residents and the public, offering a shared amenity where neighbors and future residents can connect, play, and enjoy the outdoors together.

At MBK Rental Living, thoughtful design and community partnership guide everything we do. We look forward to delivering another community where people can feel at home soon!

As we look back on our portfolio’s milestones, we are reminded that our most vital assets aren't just the communities we build—they are the people who power them.

To our internal teams and our external partners - thank you for your unwavering commitment, your specialized expertise, and for operating as one cohesive unit. Our success is a shared one.
