🔍 What Is the Due Diligence Period? 🏡

If you’re buying a home, you’ve probably heard the term “due diligence period”, but what does it actually mean?

In simple terms, this is your grace period after going under contract to make sure the home is truly right for you. 📝💡

✅ It’s your time to: • Get a home inspection
• Negotiate repairs or price adjustments
• Research the neighborhood
• Confirm financing
• Review the HOA, zoning, and property details

You can walk away during this time for any reason and still keep your earnest money 💰 (as long as you're within the due diligence window).

Think of it as your buyer’s safety net before committing fully. 👏
