Thought I'd share it.

There was a point in my life where I was waiting.

Waiting for the right time.
Waiting for things to line up.
Waiting for someone to tell me I was ready.

That moment never came.

What came instead was a quiet realization that nobody was coming to hand me the life I wanted.

That if I was going to build something real, I was going to have to start before I felt ready.

So I did.

I'm still building.
Still figuring things out.

But I stopped waiting a long time ago and I have never once regretted that decision.

What My Daughter Doesn't Know Yet

My daughter doesn't know why I work the way I work yet.

She just knows Baba is busy sometimes.

That there are properties and phone calls and things that need attention.

This was the day she was born. She's 10 now.

But one day I want her to understand that everything I'm building, the investments, the business, the early mornings, it's all a letter to her.

Written in action instead of words.

The Coptic tradition I was raised in taught me that legacy isn't an accident.

You build it on purpose, brick by brick, with God's hand in it.

I'm not there yet. Not even close. But I'm building.

And that's enough for today.

Jax Investors 🏠

We all know what "it's done" really means in the renovation world.

It means close to done. It means good enough in my opinion.

It means I'm ready to get paid and move on to my next job.

What it actually means for you as the investor is it's time to play "Where's Waldo".

One of the most common things I see missed on interior paint jobs are closets.

The main rooms look great, the hallway looks great, everything the eye catches on a quick walkthrough looks great.

But open a closet door, look behind a door, check the small walls at the end of a hallway and there it is.

Raw unpainted drywall staring right back at you.
