Jacksonville has grown since then and I’ve lived several different places here and have enjoyed each one. I have always been surrounded by lots of family and friends and I’ve come to realize people are my passion! At an early age I became very interested in pursuing a career in real estate. I purchased
my first business in 1979 which was the New River Shoe Repair and in 1980 I was Co-founder
of Wo
rd of Faith Church. In 2001, I obtained my real estate license and became a member of
the Jacksonville Board of Realtors (JBOR). In 2002, I purchased my first commercial investment
property, Store All Self Storage Inn and was part of the JBOR Education Committee, and in
2003 I chaired that committee. I’ve served fourteen years on the JBOR Board of Directors and
during that time I was also one of the JBOR INDOC Instructors. 2010 through 2011 I served the JBOR as Treasurer. Also in 2011 I was honored to receive The Realtor of The Year Award. I believe in practicing what I teach, so as homeowner, landlord, REALTOR, manager, broker and investor, I have a wealth of knowledge to offer the investor, homebuyer or seller. I have found in order to be a good leader it’s imperative to be knowledgeable of the constant changes that are being made, and that you can’t lead somebody where you won’t go yourself. Investing also gives me great pleasure. I not only invest in real estate but I love investing in
people. At nineteen I owned my first property that later became a rental investment and seeing how that one investment afforded me the opportunity to not only save money but give me another stream of income, I knew I had discovered something that I could teach others how to do and help them attain their goals and dreams for them and their families. When I’m not with family, friends, or business associates you’ll find me in a boat fishing, at
home in our pool, at church with fellow believers in Jesus or at one of my favorite restaurants
either way, I’ll be enjoying this beautiful life our Creator has so graciously given us. Wherever
