There’s something about the sunset over the St. Johns River that just makes everything else fade away. 🌅

For this week’s Friday Favorite, I’m highlighting one of my absolute favorite spots in Jacksonville: Riverfront Park in San Marco. Whether I’m wrapping up a busy week of property inspections or just need a moment to breathe, the San Marco bulkhead is where you’ll find me.

The breeze coming off the water and that golden hour glow over the downtown skyline: it’s hands down one of the best views in the city. It’s the perfect place to clear your head, watch for manatees, and appreciate why we love living in North Florida.

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for another "Friday Favorite!" Today I’m taking a breather at one of the most peaceful spots in St. Johns County: Alpine Groves Park.

There’s something about the way the Spanish moss hangs off those massive, sprawling live oaks that just slows everything down. If you haven’t spent an afternoon here, you’re missing out on a true Northwest St. Johns gem. Between the historic citrus farm vibe and the stunning views of the St. Johns River, it’s impossible not to feel a bit more relaxed the moment you step onto the trails.

I love coming here to clear my head and appreciate the history of our community. Seeing the old Bennett House reminds me of how much this area has grown while still holding onto its roots. Managing rental properties keeps my schedule packed, but taking a moment to enjoy the quiet beauty of our local parks is what keeps me energized to serve our owners and tenants.
