I have been an entrepreneur for over 30 years. Why a Realtor?

I started my first corporation in 1991 and after selling my last one in 2016 and I decided to turn my focus to helping people through real estate. Well, this is a simple but deep reason. When I bought my first house, I missed out on receiving a lot of down payment assistance. I was not guided through the process and was never explained the contract or what I was signing. Then as a homeowner, I was

left alone to learn about how to maintain my home. I also wasn’t educated on how I could become wealthy through real estate. This experience left me empty and as I learn about the real estate business, I became upset because I could have received substantial down payment assistance! This would have allowed my family to have more equity faster. It would have lowered our monthly payments. We could have saved a ton of money maintaining my home and I could have prepared for investing. This empty feeling was re-lived 25 years later when I sold my first house and bought my next home. I was left alone again. This experience was frustrating and became my driving force to become a Realtor. I swore that I would not allow people to experience what I went through. People deserve to buy or sell a home with guidance, support, professional negotiation, and if possible down payment assistance. I am here to protect the most vulnerable, first-time home buyers and first-time home sellers. My personal experience coupled with the fulfillment I get when we get to the closing table, and I see the joy in the eyes of my clients, is "My Why." It aligns with everything inside me. Personally, I enjoy playing soccer, pool, and at one time was a professional poker player. Not as glamorous as it seems. :)
