Welcome home to Jefferson, Randy and Shelly! This wonderful family is taking over our home, and we couldnโ€™t have found better people for the role. They appreciate what this community is, have had their eyes on it for a year and happened to stumble into my last open house just in time to make it theirs.

Having the opportunity to pass the torch while handling this transaction for ourselves and our buyers was an experience I do not take lightly, nor will I ever forget.

โ€œThe one where we moved down the street.โ€

There is much to say about the last two and a half months, so Iโ€™ll try to be concise. We put an offer on this house in our neighborhood after seeing it on the market for awhile and finally deciding to just take a peek inside.

The contingency to sell our home lived up to its full potential when the offer we accepted came in on the very last day of our contract here before it would expire. There is no doubt God had this in store for us.

What seems crazy to many has turned out to be the best and most sound life choice we could have made for our family, โ€˜right-sizingโ€™ and checking every single wish list box we had as well.

I have to thank the team of pros who collaborated to get us here: Cindy, Justin, Chelsea, Kelly, Oโ€™Kelley & Sorohan, LLC and then thereโ€™s my husband, my fiduciary duty, my rock. I admit he was right when he told me this was THE HOUSE for us. Ps-not moving again.

Riddle me this: So this is our personal home, for another couple of weeks until the new homeowners make it theirs, and my first time representing everyone in the transaction as the owner. โ€˜Theyโ€™ say not to let emotions fuel decisions and itโ€™s interesting trying to navigate that as the owner, sellersโ€™ agent and representative of the buyer. Alas, we did it.
