CHASE. Collective We believe the most important part of real estate is people. Our mission is to bring clarity, compassion, & satisfaction to every step. You'll be proud you did!

If you're navigating a big change, we listen, act with integrity, & guide you like family. Meet Liz Keller:

Buying your first property is an exhilarating experience. Whether you are looking to buy your first home or launch your career as a real estate investor, the hunt for the perfect property will fill you with excitement, anticipation, and hope. However, if you aren't careful about who you hire as your Des Moines Realtor, all of that hope and excitement will give way to frustration and disappointment. If you are anything like most people, you only want to work with a real estate agent that has the local knowledge to find the best properties, the professional knowledge to save you time, and the connections to save you money. Just like not all properties in Des Moines are created equally, you must understand that every Des Moines real estate agent is different and you are better off by hiring one that listens to you, prioritizes your goals, and has the experience working with people in your shoes. Any real estate agent in Des Moines can claim to be the best. But to truly understand what makes my clients say that about me, you must first understand what I bring to the table. Here are some cold, hard facts that prove I am driven by results:

Named RE/MAX's #1 Commercial Agent for the entire Midwest Region

Ranked top 5 Individual Agents for RE/MAX

Voted Top Agent for customer satisfaction and customer service on Trulia & Zillow

I understand that as you prepare to purchase your first property in Des Moines, you are likely filled with as many questions as you are dreams about taking this step. I promise to listen to every concern, answer every question, and resolve every challenge you have to get you the property you deserve. If you don't want to wait another minute to begin your journey as a homeowner or real estate investor, give me a call. Meet Chase Keller:

Would you trust your investments to a Realtor that knows more about running an open house than they do developing a diversification strategy? Do you feel comfortable hiring an agent that looks at you like a walking commission check? Are you satisfied with agents that simply go through the motions without any real drive or motivation? Of course not! Your real estate investments are massively important to your family's financial health, future, and quality of life. If you are anything like most successful people, you treat your investment portfolio as a business and only want to align yourself with the people that have as much respect for your business as they do their own. Here in Des Moines, any real estate agent can help you buy or sell a property. However, few if any agents have what it takes to help you go from novice investor to real estate mogul. When you decide to partner with me as your Realtor, you will benefit from:

Helping you wanting some direction in how to start your investment portfolio or if you already have some investing but need more of an understanding or education on how to make the investments work for you. If you know you aren't realizing your full potential as an investor but are ready to take that first step, schedule a free strategy session with me. I will sit down with you to get to the root of your goals, challenges, personality, preferences, and resources to build a customized strategy that gets you from where you are now to where you want to go.

“Mom says she's fine at home. Dad thinks it's time to move. The kids aren't sure what to do.”

Sound familiar?

When a longtime family home becomes part of a bigger life decision, emotions, finances, and different opinions can make things complicated.

The good news? You don't have to figure everything out at once.

At Chase Collective, we help Des Moines families explore their options, understand their home's value, and make informed decisions without feeling rushed or pressured.

Not sure whether to stay, downsize, or sell? Let's start with a conversation and figure out what makes sense for your family.

Your Realtor needs to know who's authorized to sell the house. They don't necessarily need to know why your siblings haven't spoken in five years. 😅

Selling a parent's longtime home can come with decades of memories, complicated family dynamics, and a lot of moving pieces.

But what information actually matters to the sale?

🏡 Who has the legal authority to sell? If a power of attorney, trust, or estate is involved, the proper documentation matters.

💰 What are the seller's goals? Getting the highest price, selling quickly, or avoiding major repairs can lead to very different strategies.

📅 What's the timeline? Is there a move into senior living coming up, or does the family have flexibility?

🔑 What's the home's condition? Known defects, necessary repairs, and required property disclosures need to be addressed.

👨👩👧 Who makes the decisions? Knowing who needs to approve offers and sign documents can prevent delays and confusion.

At Chase Collective, we help Des Moines families navigate these situations while respecting their privacy and keeping the seller's best interests at the center.

You don't have to explain every family disagreement. Just make sure your real estate team has the information that actually affects the transaction.

Selling a parent's home? Save this before your first meeting with a Realtor!

One parent wants to stay in the family home. The kids are worried about the stairs. And somehow, everyone has a different idea of what should happen next. 😅

Sound familiar?

Making housing decisions as a family isn't always easy, especially when emotions, finances, and years of memories are involved.

At Chase Collective, we help Iowa families understand their options, from aging in place to downsizing or selling a longtime home, while making sure everyone's concerns are heard.

Not sure what the next step should be? Let's talk through the options before making a big decision.

“Mom's moving into assisted living, and we just need to sell the house quickly.”

Seems harmless to share, right? But that one sentence could tell a buyer more than they need to know.

When buyers learn that a family is dealing with a major life transition, they may assume the seller is under pressure to accept a lower offer or close quickly.

And that's not always the case.

Selling a parent's home should be about showcasing the property's value, not advertising the family's personal circumstances.

At Chase Collective, we help Central Iowa families navigate senior home sales with a strategy that respects their privacy and protects their negotiating position.

🏡 Your family's story is yours to share. Just remember that certain property conditions and material facts still need to be disclosed as required by law.

Thinking about selling a parent's home? Save this before sharing too much with potential buyers!

“Should I sell my house? Is it time to downsize? What if I want to stay right where I am?”

And then there's the question nobody wants to ask: Where do I even start?

For many senior homeowners, the hardest part isn't making a decision. It's figuring out what their options actually are.

Maybe the house needs repairs. Maybe the stairs are becoming a challenge. Maybe the kids have opinions. Lots of opinions. 😅

But here's the thing. Selling isn't always the answer.

Sometimes it makes sense to stay and make a few changes. Sometimes downsizing creates more freedom. And sometimes selling the family home is the right next step.

At Chase Collective, we help senior homeowners and their families understand their real estate options, what their home is worth in today's Des Moines market, and what makes the most sense for their situation.

No rushing into a decision. Just good information and a plan that works for you.

Have questions about your home or a parent's home? Let's talk through the options before you make your next move.

Once the packing starts, things disappear faster than you think. 📦

That custom-built cabinet Dad was so proud of. The way Mom arranged the living room every Christmas. The old family heirloom nobody realized was tucked away in a closet.

And suddenly, someone asks, "Does anyone have a picture of that?"

A few minutes with your phone before the moving boxes come out can save a lot of confusion later. Photos can help document home improvements, keep track of meaningful belongings, and preserve memories before everything changes.

At Chase Collective, we help Des Moines families prepare longtime homes for sale while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

📸 Watch the Reel for three things worth photographing before you start packing.

Save this or send it to someone getting ready to sell a parent's home!

The hardest part of pricing Mom and Dad’s house usually isn’t the comps.

It’s the memories attached to it.

The holidays. The kids growing up. The kitchen table everyone gathered around.

Those memories are priceless to your family, but buyers are looking at the home through today’s market.

At Chase Collective, we help families separate sentimental value from market value so they can make the next decision with confidence.

Thinking about selling a parent’s home? Start with knowing what it’s actually worth.

A lot of home sales get stressful before the sign ever goes in the yard.

Especially when family members are helping an aging parent sell.

Who is actually on title? Is there still a mortgage? Does someone have power of attorney? Are there estate documents involved?

Those details are much easier to sort out before there’s an offer on the table and a closing date ticking away.

At Chase Collective, we help families identify the real estate pieces that need to be in order before the home hits the market.

If selling Mom or Dad’s house is coming up, start with the paperwork. Future you will be glad you did.

10/05/2026

Thirty or forty years of life can fit into one house. Buyers still need to be able to see the house.

That is where families sometimes get stuck.

You do not need to erase the memories or clear everything out overnight. But you do need a plan for what stays, what gets packed, what gets donated, and what may have sentimental or financial value.

At Chase Collective, we help families think through the preparation before the home hits the market, especially when a parent has lived there for decades.

The goal is not to wipe away the story.

It is to protect what matters while making it easier for buyers to picture their own future there.

Start with a plan, not a dumpster.

Send this to someone helping a parent prepare their home for sale.
