Proud to see Campi’s Handyman featured by Hawaiʻi Life for our role in safely accessing a massive beehive hidden inside a bedroom wall at Kuilima West.

This project required careful coordination, precise wall access, live-bee removal, and restoration of the affected closet area. The colony was successfully relocated rather than destroyed.

We own a vacation rental at Kuilima West in the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort. Recently bees began swarming inside the unit. Not exactly the kind of welcome we had in mind.

September 11 is not just a date in history to me. I was living in New York City at the time, only a few blocks from Ground Zero, caring for my grandparents and teaching in the Bronx.

I will never forget the moment the towers fell—the horror, the disbelief, the dust, and the heartbreaking loss of so many innocent lives. It was a tragedy beyond anything words can truly describe.

But I will also never forget what happened afterward. The entire city came together. It didn’t matter who you were, where you came from, what you believed, or what you looked like. People helped one another simply because we were all human—and we all needed each other.

Out of the ashes and through the darkness, there was light: courage, compassion, unity, and love.

Today, I remember the lives that were lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to save others. I will never forget. 🇺🇸

Sliding door lock repair with a view like this — not a bad office for the day.

This door wasn’t locking properly, so I took it apart, diagnosed the hardware issue, repaired the lock mechanism, and got everything lined up and working smooth again. Little details matter: clean fit, proper adjustment, solid function, and secure locking.

Always enjoy helping clients keep their homes safe, functional, and looking good here on Windward Oʻahu.

Second gate completed for this client, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

They were super happy with the first gate I built, and now after finishing this second one, they’ve asked me to build two more. That’s the kind of feedback every craftsman loves to hear.

I really enjoy these carpentry projects — making everything look clean, uniform, straight, and built to last. From sanding the boards and staining the wood to installing quality hardware, latches, and making sure the gates swing correctly, every detail matters.

Always grateful for clients who trust me with their projects and appreciate solid workmanship.

Not every gate is just a gate.

Some are the first thing people see when they come home.
Some have to hold up to weather, daily use, and a dog that’s smarter than the last design.

This one started out tired and undersized. I rebuilt it into something stronger, taller, cleaner, and a lot more intentional — with custom cedar work, solid framing, and careful fitting to make it feel like it belonged there all along.

I’m proud of this one because it wasn’t about rushing through another small job. It was about taking the time to make something simple look right.

That’s the kind of work I like doing most — practical craftsmanship that also feels good to look at.

Pocket door fix ✅

Door was off track and not operating right. Got it back on both rollers, cleaned out the obstruction, adjusted the hangers, and tuned it up so it now slides smooth, opens/closes correctly, and locks properly (it didn’t lock before).

If you’ve got a pocket door that’s dragging, jumping track, sticking, or won’t latch—message me and I’ll get it dialed in.
