Kansas City just made history.
Average nightly rates jumped from $191 last June to $316 this summer - and KC STR hosts collectively earned $12 million more than the same month last year. Of all 16 FIFA World Cup host cities across the US, Kansas City had the highest nightly rates of them all, higher than Miami, New York, Boston, and Los Angeles.
The takeaway? Kansas City is not a secondary market anymore (it never really was), and the world knows it now.
If you own a short-term rental in the metro and want to make sure you're set up to perform at this level year round, not just during major events, that's exactly what we do at Roamavi.
