Yesterday was a beautiful and unseasonably warm day - perfect for hauling another load of wood away from the cabin. Job done!

Now it’s time to stop for lunch at Mallard’s Roadhouse, on the way home.

Fireside Cabin has come a long way since the tornado last May. So many upgrades! New roof, deck, siding, windows, a fresh coat of paint and updated window coverings. Still the same old, rustic cabin, with some extra love thrown in.
