Today was a beautiful reminder of what happens when women come together to support one another.

I’m grateful to be part of Heartland Women Veterans Chapter 1107 and especially thankful to my fellow ReeceNichols agents who helped donate supplies to fill 50 care bags for women currently affected by breast cancer.

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💗

Some chapters are harder to close than others.

Last week, I said goodbye to my mom after her long journey with Alzheimer’s.

For years, being her daughter also meant being her caregiver. It was a chapter filled with love, responsibility, difficult decisions, exhaustion, and moments I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Now, for the first time in a long time, I’m figuring out what life looks like without that responsibility. And without her.

One thing I’ve learned is that life doesn’t always give us time to prepare for the next chapter. Sometimes we’re simply handed a new one and have to figure out how to turn the page.

If you’re caring for an aging parent, grieving someone you love, or navigating a season of change, I see you.

Not every chapter is easy. Not every chapter is one we would choose. But every chapter matters.

And sometimes, simply showing up is enough. 💞

One of the best things you can do in business is learn from people who are doing things differently than you are.

I spent some time with a fellow investor & real estate agent because I genuinely wanted to understand her process. How she approaches deals, works with investors, builds her business, and what she’s learned along the way.

That conversation also led to something I’m really excited about. I asked her to join the KC Women Building Wealth board, and she said yes. ❤️

This is exactly what I want Women Building Wealth to be about. Bringing smart, driven women together who are willing to share what they know, learn from one another, and help other women build wealth through real estate and investing.

There is room at the table for all of us.

Community over competition. Always stay teachable. And keep building the table.

Last week, I joined Heartland Women Veterans Chapter 1107.

I served in the Army from 1998 to 2003. Today, I’m a real estate agent and investor, and one thing has stayed with me: having a place to call home can change what’s possible for someone.

I’m excited to connect with other women veterans, serve alongside them, and learn where I can make a difference. Supporting veterans through housing and helping women build wealth are both close to my heart. This feels like another place where those parts of my life can come together.
