I wanted to highlight a couple of motions that were voted on in last months closed session school board meeting.
Item #6 it was voted on to not extend the contracts of Dr. Dial and Mr. Dalton in a 4-3 vote.
Item #7 it was voted 4-3 to not rescind motion #6.
For anyone not aware of the importance of contract extensions for our school administrators I would like to elaborate.
If an administrator of a public school does not receive a contract extension it is the equivalent of saying you need to find another job at another school because you do not have the support of our school board and our community.
In this case, I feel like our community supports our administration and this is just another example of 4 of our board members not doing what is best for our children, our school, and our community.
I feel like our current school board has forgotten the fact that they are an extension of the public! And that they represent our community!
Please reach out to these board members and demand an explanation why our administrators are not supported by our current board!
My biggest fear is that our children will lose some of our administration before we can fix this BROKEN school board.
