I really am so blessed and thankful that I have been taught a lot of these things over the years.. and some of it I’ve just had to learn the hard way.

I really feel like one major thing lacking in the real estate industry is how to be a GOOD MARKETER, and where to put your marketing dollars.. and sadly, knowing how market yourself to get clients isn’t always the same as how to market a LISTING, to get it SOLD, in a way that satisfies the sellers as well!

My goal, to be fully transparent, is to become the best of the best! I want to learn exactly what every listing needs, how to position it in the marketplace, and do everything I possibly can to make sure the sellers I am working with are getting the most eyes on their property as possible! 😁

It’s an audacious goal, but by the grace of God, I can do it!

Thankfully I’m not starting from scratch. I have a pretty good track record with listings so far, and I believe it’s going to only get better 🥹

One day Addison and I, had the realization that we are grown adults and we have free will… We also realized that we only live 4 to 5 hours from the closest beaches… Are they Florida beaches no, which is preferred, but Port Aransas isn’t so bad in our opinion…

So yesterday on a Sunday with nothing to do we decided to wake up at 4 AM pack up the car and make the 5 Hour drive to Port Aransas with our kids… we packed a cooler and hit the roa. We spent half the day fishing and the other half the day at the beach… It was a very affordable trip because really all we had to pay for was gas and food for the cooler and even a splurge on McDonald’s on the way home…

Was it a long day? Yes.

Would we do it again absolutely YES!!, because we made so many fun memories along the trip with our kiddos and we got a nice change of scenery and honestly got to relax in a way we have not been able too in a while!

Sometimes we just need a little spontaneity.

The key to making this kind of trip work is to truly surrender the plans… Be OK with whatever happens along the way, there’s traffic or if you have to wake up early or stay up late or sleep in the next day… That’s what makes this kind of day trip work …

this is not a meticulously planned vacation where you need to map everything out. This is just pack a few items and some bags. Bring a cooler full of food and enjoy the day!

Okay, I have another spot in temple for a sweet treat 🤌🏼🤌🏼 Gogo's Treatery was delicious!! I took my kids here last week before a long drive to Dallas and it was just what we needed to perk us up for the ride ahead! Delicious, creamy, and the pricing wasn’t too bad either 😉

Lest you be fooled by this post, let me be clear my husband and I are a team! He works just as hard- actually harder, than I do for provide this lifestyle! But we do this, because THIS is the life we want.
