Plenty of families can't all be together on December 25. In-laws, kids home from college, a shift at the hospital.

Two December weekends are still open at Little Ferry Inn: Dec 11 to 14 and Dec 18 to 21. Bring everyone to the Potomac for three nights, have the big dinner, open presents in the solarium, and let the kids take over the rec room. Grandparents can have the In-Law Suite at half off.

Stay three nights and the third one is free. Message us FERRY and we'll send the rate. It ends November 1.

This Thanksgiving, somebody else is cooking.

A private chef. Turkey, ham, mac and cheese, collards, sweet potato soufflé, two kinds of pie. Dinner for 10, served at your table and cleaned up after. The leftovers are yours.

You get the Main House on the Potomac for the holiday. Bonfire and s'mores on the beach after pie.

The weekend before Thanksgiving is open at Little Ferry Inn, and we can't think of a better use for it than Friendsgiving.

Nov 20 to 23: the Main House, five suites, a kitchen made for a crowd, the solarium fireplace, billiards, and a bonfire on the beach when the weather cooperates. Three nights is enough time to cook, eat, and actually sit around afterward.

The third night is free. Send us FERRY for the rate, and book by November 1.

A big group house works best when everyone can get a little quiet.

That's what the In-Law Suite is for. It has a king bed and its own entrance, right next to the Main House at Little Ferry Inn. Book one of our open fall weekends, where the third night is free, and the suite is half off for your group.

The Main House sleeps 16, the suite adds 2, and nobody has to share a wall with the teenagers.

Who in your family spends Thanksgiving in the kitchen?

This year, let them sit down.

We're offering Thanksgiving week at Little Ferry Inn to one family: the Main House on the Potomac, any three to five nights between Wednesday, November 25 and Monday, November 30, with a private chef cooking Thanksgiving dinner for up to 10. Roasted turkey and cornbread stuffing, glazed ham, mac and cheese, collard greens, sweet potato soufflé, string beans, homemade cranberry sauce, apple and pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream, spiced iced tea and eggnog. The chef serves it and cleans up, and the leftovers stay with you. Arriving Friday? The chef cooks it on another day of your stay.

The rest of the week is yours: billiards, board games, the grand piano, movies on the 85-inch TV, the solarium fire, and a bonfire with s'mores on the beach. Grandparents can have the In-Law Suite next door at half its usual rate.

Once it's booked, it's booked.
