Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and remember the sacrifices made by so many heroes and their families so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.

As we spend time with family, enjoy the lake, fire up the grill, or gather with friends here in the Hill Country, let’s also take a moment to remember those who never made it home.

Kingsland is growing, and May 15 marks a major milestone for the future of the community.

Join us for the official groundbreaking celebration for Chicken Express at Kingsland Commons on Friday, May 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM in Kingsland, Texas.

This event celebrates the first signed buyer at Kingsland Commons, the new master planned mixed use development located at RR 1431 and FM 2342 across from Lake LBJ.

The groundbreaking will feature remarks from:• Richard, owner of the Chicken Express franchise• Gregg Miller, developer of Kingsland Commons• Members of the Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce• The local County Commissioner

Kingsland Commons is designed to bring together restaurants, retail, gathering spaces, walking trails, entertainment, hospitality, and community centered development while preserving the natural beauty and character of the Texas Hill Country.

This is more than a restaurant announcement. It is the beginning of a long term vision for the future of Kingsland and the Lake LBJ area.

Community members, local businesses, residents, visitors, and media are invited to attend and be part of this exciting moment for Kingsland.

Big things are happening in Kingsland. 👏

We’re excited to officially celebrate the groundbreaking for Chicken Express at Kingsland Commons, marking the first signed operator in the development and the beginning of what’s ahead for this growing community.

This project has always been about more than just buildings. It’s about creating a place where locals, visitors, families, and businesses can come together in a way that feels true to Kingsland and the Hill Country lifestyle.

A huge thank you to the Kingsland/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce, community members, partners, and everyone who has supported the vision from the beginning. The excitement surrounding this project has been incredible to watch.

And this is only the start. 👀

First one down. Kingsland Commons is filling in.

A new Chicken Wxpress location is the first business signed at Kingsland Commons - the master-planned,mixed-use development going up at RR 1431 & FM 2342, across from Lake LBJ.

Restaurants, retail, a boutique hotel, an amphitheater, walking trails, and a central park. The corner sits where the road from Austin to the lakes meets FM 2342 - minutes from Boat Town, Legends, and the slab.

More businesses are on the way and more is still to come.

First business, but not the last.
