Cleaning out the garage today and found something I had forgotten about. 😂
When I was born, my dad was at the hospital looking through the nursery window at all the babies. He came back to Mom's room and told her, “Brian is the only baby in there that doesn't have a toy.”
Mom had to explain to him that those little suction things he was seeing with the other babies weren't toys. 😂😂
Dad told me that story years later and for whatever reason, I never forgot it.
Fast forward 50 years...
For my 50th birthday, Dad bought me a really nice pair of binoculars. On the box he wrote:
“Happy 50th Birthday Brian. Now you have a toy.”
😂😂😂
I'm 54 now and just found them again cleaning out the garage.
Some things are worth a whole lot more than what they cost. ❤️
And apparently it only took Dad 50 years to finally get me a toy. 😂
