Old Fashioned 4th of July. Noon–10pm. Food vendors, craft vendors, amusement rides and games all day. NEPA Philharmonic with soprano Jessica Leigh performs live at 7:30pm, then one of the valley’s most spectacular fireworks shows at 9–9:30pm. Free.
🎇 Wright Township Municipal Park, Park Rd., Mountain Top | July 3
Moon bounces, face painting, food trucks and family activities starting at 3pm. Fireworks at approximately 9:10pm.
🎇 Harveys Lake America 250 Celebration, Lakeside Dr. | July 3–5
Full weekend of patriotic festivities around the lake. Fireworks display over the lake Friday night July 3 after dusk.

10am–noon. Free flags for kids, ice cream fundraiser, hot dog eating contest, apple pie eating challenge and Hometown Heroes announcement. A time capsule buried 25 years ago will be opened for the first time.

Cheer on the RailRiders in custom patriotic jerseys, then stay for an extended holiday fireworks spectacular after the final out. ⚾️ Fireworks ~9pm each night.

🎇 Scrantastic Spectacular – Courthouse Square, N. Washington Ave., Scranton | July 3
Starts 4pm. Food, games, bounce houses, local bands on the side stage. NEPA Philharmonic with soprano Jessica Leigh performs live at 7:30pm. Then the best fireworks show in NEPA lights up the sky. Launched from the Linden St. Garage above Catch 21. 📍See map for best viewing spots.
