Jupiter and Venus are the second and third brightest things in the night sky (behind the moon) and they are putting on a show this week, slowly getting closer to each other.
On March 1, they'll be almost touching (at conjunction). Then they'll slow drift apart again through early March.
BTW even though it looks like they are close, Venus is about 4 times closer to us than Jupiter is.
