Today my heart is full 🤍

There’s something really powerful about people simply showing up. Last time we had to cancel haircuts at the Youth Resource Center because we only had one stylist… but today was a completely different story.

12 stylists. 35 haircuts.
Thirty-five teens walked away feeling seen, cared for, and a little more confident.

That doesn’t happen without people who are willing to give their time and talent.

Huge love to my OGs and friends and for always being in my corner and showing up no matter what. And a big shoutout to for bringing TEN stylists and making such a massive impact today.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. This is what community looks like. 🤍

If you’ve ever thought about coming to help, we would love to have you next time.

PS: It’s actually so hard to take pictures without showing clients’ faces 😂 but protecting their privacy will always come first.

My girl leaves tomorrow to study abroad—alone—in Grenoble, France for six months.
And honestly… the word proud doesn’t even come close.

She’s been my best friend and my sidekick since the day she was born. I always say, “The problem with raising a strong, independent woman is that they turn out to be one.”
Turns out—it’s not a problem at all.

People once thought I was crazy for moving across the country alone with a 7-year-old. But that leap of faith opened a life filled with adventure, love, and courage—for both of us.

This moment is proof that every hard choice, every leap, every lesson mattered. Every good sunset has some clouds.

You were born to fly, my girl.
And I can’t wait to see where you land. ✈️🇫🇷💙

Ok friends! Ky is preparing to move to France in a week. So she needs to sell her car. I’ll be listing it on marketplace tomorrow but figured I would see if friends wanted first dibs.

2014 rav4 limited sport 4x4, 158k miles, no mechanical issues. We are the only owners and no accidents. Will have a new windshield as of tomorrow. New tires less than one year, with warranty from discount tires.

Only 2 minor issues. The factory radio doesn’t work so we installed a Bluetooth one. The lift gate needs to be replaced (there is a kyli size butt size dent in the gate…long story 😂) , if you want to use it as an automatic lift, appx $700. Also a scratch on the front passenger side from rubbing the garage door.

Happy Holidays from our family to yours 🤍
This year has been full of adventure, with more to come. We’re incredibly thankful for the time we’ve spent together and with the people we love. With Ky heading to France for six months in just a couple of weeks, we’re soaking up every moment—yes, even forcing mom into the snow for a family snowboarding trip ❄️😅 Logan and Evie had a blast!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and THANK YOU 🤍

The holiday party at the Youth Center turned out absolutely amazing. While we can’t share photos of the clients, the joy on their faces said everything—playing games, winning prizes, receiving gifts, eating GIANT doughnuts from , sipping hot chocolate, getting fresh Christmas cuts from , , , and G the barber, and most importantly, being able to relax and be carefree, even if just for a little while.

Thank you to everyone who donated time, talents, money, and good thoughts or prayers. Every single bit was felt and deeply appreciated. This year, we hold a very special lady and her family close in our hearts—your love and generosity helped make this possible.

And to my people… my partner in crime , my partner in life .chadwick.69 , my partner since her first breath , our very loved , the incredible (I think I found my “do-a-million-things-at-once” twin), and my girl —thank you for showing up with your whole hearts.
