Someone asked me recently what REALTORS® actually do all day… 😂

Apparently:

☕ drink coffee
📱 answer texts in parking lots
🏡 show homes
📑 negotiate contracts
🧠 solve problems no one saw coming
💛 care WAY too much about people
🐝 and somehow juggle all the things

But honestly?

What matters most to me isn’t just helping people buy or sell homes.

It’s helping people make good decisions, protect their future, build wealth, navigate hard moments, and feel cared for through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

And yes… there is usually coffee involved ☕🐝

⏰ TIME IS TICKING…

Professional photos are happening first thing in the morning… and our tenant moves in at NOON. 😅

If you’ve ever thought furnished rentals are “easy” or “passive income”… let me give you a little behind-the-scenes snapshot of the past week.

✔️ Contractor finished paint, repairs, carpet, lighting upgrades & touch-ups
✔️ Deep cleaned EVERYTHING (baseboards, cabinets, lights, floors… the works)
✔️ Started moving in and assembling furniture… only to realize some pieces were missing parts 🙃

Then… plot twist.

🥵 The A/C stopped working. Completely.
As in… would not turn on at all.

We called in full panic mode and basically begged for help because our tenant moves in Friday. They came through quickly (huge shoutout 👏)… and delivered the not-so-fun news:

➡️ We need a brand new HVAC unit.
💸 $10,000.

No way around it.

Then came moving day… in the pouring rain ☔ (which meant muddy cleanup nonstop).

THEN the power went out.

And because apparently we hadn’t been humbled enough yet 😂… I stayed late trying to finish things, couldn’t see well in the dark, slipped in slick sandals, and took a pretty good fall. Bruised up in multiple places and currently walking around like I’m 97 years old. 😵‍💫

AND today…

…the dishwasher decided to quit while we were washing everything for the tenant. So yes — now a new dishwasher is being ordered too. 😅

But despite all of that…

✨ The pillows are fluffed
✨ The beds are made with fresh linens
✨ Coffee is ready for the coffee pot
✨ Bottled water is in the fridge
✨ Every room is finally starting to feel like HOME

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about getting a rental “done.”

It’s about creating a place where someone can land, exhale, and feel cared for while they’re here.

The glamorous side of real estate investing? 😂
Sometimes it looks a lot like sweat, bruises, late nights, and a 6:00 AM start time to make it all come together.

And honestly? Still worth it. ❤️

🚨 First off… THANK YOU for all the concern. 🚨

I’m okay. Just a little shaken up… but I’ll recover.

For those of you who don’t know what happened earlier… I was robbed at the gas station. 😳

I had just finished another day of driving all over East Tennessee (see evidence 😅). I gathered myself together, but my hands were shaking, I felt dizzy, and honestly, I think I was in shock.

My money was GONE.

I called the police. They were fantastic. 🚔 Medical assistance was even offered because my blood pressure was through the roof.

The officer asked,
“Do you know who did it?”

I said…

“Yes. Pump number 5. It took ALL my money.” ⛽💸

Apparently, this is what a “typical day in real estate” looks like. 😂
