Next event 1-25-24, Meet Tara Winterbotham… one of our panelists, Here’s her bio:

I’m a former educator with experience in special education, outdoor education, and early childhood administration. I was also a stay at home mom for 11 years! We have four daughters ages 20, 18, 16, and 14.

I’ve was a full time “teammate” supporting my husband’s 22 year career in college coaching. We lived in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and now Tennessee chasing National Championships. When Sam left his coaching career to pursue real estate he wanted me to join him on that path. I was reluctant to join him as teaching felt like that one small slice of my life that belonged to me. Then the world turned upside down. I obtained my real estate license during Covid while teaching virtually, in 2021.

I initially got my license in order to do what I’ve always done; help him. I was going to be his transaction coordinator, specialist in paperwork, organization, track data, market the business. It turns out I didn’t enjoy any of that and I wasn’t very good at it. Now I’m in charge of our lead generation and building relationships in our community.

I’m passionate about raising my daughters and helping them grow into independent, confident, and purpose driven women. I enjoy reading and am a nature, plant, tree, forest enthusiast. I love coffee, long meandering walks, reading, traveling, hearing people’s stories, and my dog- Dolly Potter.
