My fiancée, Sara, and I just took our five kiddos + two of their friends on a four-night trip to Pine Lake, WI.

We discovered that, in the middle of the lake, there is a very shallow (former) sand bar of sorts, where the water is less than three feet deep. Both Sara and I thought this would be a fun spot for our crew to hang out.

On Monday, Sara approached this idea by heading out early in a canoe and dropping the anchor in the ideal spot. She swam back and then later, we all made our way out to the canoe together. 🛶

On Tuesday, I decided on the fly that we should all go back out to the sand bar. We paddled and floated there without a plan, ultimately tying our kayaks/paddle boards/floaties together and having the moms alternate anchor duties. ⚓

Monday and Tuesday were equally as successful and fun, even though the approach was completely opposite. Our kids enjoyed both experiences just the same.

This is exactly why we work together on so many aspects of Yes Gurl. Because being both organized and strategic, as well as flexible and resourceful, benefits the business. Two Yes Gurls are definitely better than one. ❤️

Did you know there are a bunch of little free pantries around our community for folks who need them? So cool! 🥰 I was reminded of this the other day as I was cleaning out a property for a client and had removed lots of perfectly good, non-persishable food. I just finished a big painting job for a cool older gal named Cindy. She told me "they can't make you stop unless you quit!" That gurl is not quitting anytime soon, and neither am I! Here's me singing and painting Cindy's house. Don't tell my marketing director I forgot to take before and after pics 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ 😆

A busy spring has turned into a busy summer! The Bluff View Collective (with cute new umbrellas) is up and running with lots of guests on the books. I've also been helping so many of you with your projects, big and small! I love it and I'm so grateful for all the referrals and support. ❤️
