Long post warning:
I’ve officially put my real estate license in referral mode, which means I can help you find the best agents to help with your real estate needs, but I will not be available to help you buy or sell a house.
Many considerations went into this decision but my biggest was the time I was missing with family. My youngest son had a bit of a health scare starting around October (he will be just fine, praise the Lord) but that really opened my eyes to how much time I was missing with loved ones while pursuing my real estate career. Missed family dinners, missed family movie nights, even when we would be intentional with making family time my mind would not be present, as I was thinking about having to make sure X, Y & Z are taken care of with my real estate clinets.
I really did enjoy helping my clients find and sell their homes and maybe in the future, when I’m not needed at home as much, I will revisit real estate.
I want thank everyone who supported me especially my family, my team and my brokerage! I’ve learned so much from everyone and definitely do not regret giving it a try.
