Also check your roof vents to make sure that snow has not covered your vent stacks...

With all the snow we now have, as you clean your driveway and walkway remember to keep all of these utilities and vents clear of snow. A blocked vent will not allow them to exhaust properly. Please check yours and any neighbors that may need assistance. Look all around your home as they may not be next each other and most likely are on different sides of the house.

Furnace vent stack completely rusted and fell apart, blowing CO2 from the hot water heater and the furnace into the basement of the home. No CO2 detectors... please check your combustible gas appliances regularly and put in CO2 alarms...
