I have a last minute discount for a 6 night opening in my ground floor 2 bed 2 bath luxury condominium home at the fabulous Honua Kai Resort & Spa on the beach in Kaanapali. I don't recall ever booking this unit this cheaply but I've dropped the rate to $399 per night plus taxes and fees to get it booked. The cleaning is $295 and parking is $15 per day. You might find something less expensive but you will not find a better vacation experience for the buck. Check my reviews. My former employer is hiring firefighters.

The Reno Fire Department has approved a new recruit academy, scheduled to begin on April 24. The department is currently seeking to hire 14 new firefighters. This initiative aims to prepare the department for the upcoming wildland fire season and supports its commitment to assisting other communities in the western United States.

This is one of my favorite hikes. It starts off pretty challenging and it doesn’t get easy until you’re coming back down but the views and scenery are incredible. It’s an easy drive over to the north side from our homes in west Maui. While you’re over there, consider a visit to Io Valley, Paia, Hoopika beach for turtles and watching great surfers, or a meal at Mama’s Fish House, Paia Flatbread, or Paia Fish Company.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Konea Unit 142 at 130 Kai Malina Parkway! The location is amazing—so easy to find and perfectly situated for exploring Lahaina and the surrounding area. The unit itself had everything we needed and more—great facilities, super comfortable, and very family-friendly.
Trevor was fantastic to work with—super helpful, responsive, and made everything seamless from start to finish. This spot was truly perfect for our family. The resort had something for everyone, and we made memories that will last a lifetime.
A family trip for the books, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lahaina town was deeply affected by the 2023 fire and some of the townhomes and the clubhouse in the Puamana community were impacted, but Puamana is an oasis of chillaxin and since a lot of people haven't got the word that we've been welcoming guests back since October 2024, I have most of the summer available. I also own and manage Konea 142 at Honua Kai, the ONLY ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium home on the north end of the fabulous Honua Kai Resort & Spa, and it's the most private and quiet part of the resort yet the ground floor location is most convenient to reach the Viking BBQ grills, the adjacent pools, the adjacent Duke's Restaurant, the beach and ocean just past Duke's, the gym, the spa, the parking garage, and the food lot that's a golf shot away from Konea 142's YARD (yes you get a large yard and garden right next to our covered lanai outdoor dining area). Konea 142 is mostly booked up through June but July 4th week is available and I've recently lowered rates through the end of 2025. Honua Kai is a top end 5 star resort located 1.4 miles north of Black Rock directly on Ka'anapali Beach (aka Airport beach). The unit has a full kitchen, 11 foot high ceilings, and you've got to check on over 100 5 star reviews.

These are legal vacation rentals that are not in apartment zones and will not be affected by any "phaseout", if any passes. Transient Accommodations Tax number TA-003-658-9568-01.
