Pele’s home might be on the Big Island but she definitely visited us on Maui the day of the Lahaina Fire 🔥 8/8/23.

I shot this photo of Pele’s story at the Lahaina Heritage Museum in the Old Lahaina Courthouse. I’m sure we lost it in the fire.

I spent a lot of time exploring Lahaina’s Historical Monuments on my daily walks down Front St. We have lost so much history 😢.
