This Thanksgiving week marks one year since we took the first steps towards building Maverick Home Inspections. When my wife and I began laying the foundation for our family business, we had no idea what the year ahead would hold.

If you're curious about what we inspect during a general home inspection, here is a basic outline!

~Roof (e.g. roof covering, flashing, vents, chimneys, spark arrestors, gutters, skylights, solar tubes, and ducting)
~Attic
~Interior
(e.g. walls/ceilings/floors/windows/doors/fireplace/cabinets/wet bars/smoke and carbon monoxide detectors)
~Exterior (We DO NOT inspect sheds, BBQs, fire pits, exterior fireplaces, ponds, fountains, horse stalls, barns)
~Heating and Air Conditioning 'HVAC'
~Electrical (We inspect accessible electrical panels, wiring, breakers, service entrance cables, lighting, outlets, GFCIs)
~Plumbing
~Foundation (crawl spaces/basements)
