⚠️ Be aware of texts claiming to be from Apple Pay account services! The text says that a large amount of money has been charged to your account. The messages provides a case number and number and warns that a second charge will process in 30 minutes unless you call the number right away. Suddenly, you feel panicked and pressured to call.

This is actually a smishing call, or a text message phishing scam! If you call the phone number provided, you won't reach Apple Support. Instead, cybercriminals pretending to be Apple Support ask for your name, credit card number, or the email address associated with your real Apple account. DON'T DO IT!! If you share these details, cybercriminals could take over your account and steal your money!

DO THIS INSTEAD:
✅ Go directly to your Apple Pay app or go to your banking website to verify transactions.

❌ Never share your banking info with someone that contacts you unexpectedly, even if they claim to be from your bank or Apple Support.

Keep in mind: Cybercriminals use urgency and fear to rush you into making quick decisions. Stop and think before you act!

Just FYI…

Repaving is scheduled for this Friday, September 18, and Monday, September 21. Work will take place during the day, from about 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The repaving work will happen on parts of Miltowne Way, Re*****on Oak Drive, Barkwood Court, and Grand Tree Court. Please note that work schedules may change due to the weather or other unexpected events.

To help the paving work go safely and quickly, we ask that you do not park cars on the street on the scheduled paving dates. Because the neighborhood is close to Lake Mary High School, we know that some students may park in the neighborhood and walk to school. We appreciate your planning ahead for September 18 and 21.
