Finally made it out today for the first time in a while! The kids wanted to play at a school, so I brought along the Simplex+. Forgot how fun and easy this machine is to use. Only had about 30 minutes to swing, but still came away with a few trinkets and some change. Excited to really get back into my favorite hobby this fall!

Still learning the Tarsacci MDT8000 running the 12" coil....

Took it out to my gravel driveway for about 5mins. I was just out there the night before with my F75se to test out the Arrow coil. Thought I better pull this one down and give it a spin tonight.

I was able to get the 8000 focused on coins and ignoring most of the aluminum slag (from the Ranch Fire buring up a car amongst other things) and pop tops.

Here is how its setup:

Mix mode
18.5k
Black sand
Salt at 45 (I think)
Disc at 4
Threshold at -1
Sensitivity at 4

Most coins have the high beep and around 12-19.
Most pieces of aluminum were a mid tone and around 4-5 (not pictured).
