The Wyoming Government made some changes to housing provided to state employees recently. This snippet is detailing what average rental rates are in each county. I live in Albany County and I am so glad I bought a home 15 years ago. My mortgage is way less than the average rental, and I have a 2 story home on a basement with 9 acres.

Some folks will say they can't afford to buy a home. It was tough in the beginning, but you need to choose your 'difficulty'.

Rarely do I meet someone who is sad because they purchased a home. It's almost always a positive and worthwhile investment.

For those still paying rent and planning to move someday, if your timeline is under 5 years, then fine, pay rent. ANYTHING over 5 years makes me wonder, why?

Land stays on par with inflation better than gold.

My 50th birthday recently happened. My son gave me a great gift. As a child, I ALWAYS loved Puff the Magic Dragon. I never wanted to hurt Puff the way Jackie did by abandoning him. Puff protected, encouraged, and helped Jackie develop characteristics to help him get through life.
I would say it is very similar to The Savior.
My son Caleb 3D printed this, and I painted it.
It is one of the most valuable things in my office, amongst my collectables here displayed at work.

What a great gift and what a great reminder of Jesus. (for me)

I am getting a few calls at work about Traffic Violation notifications. Those of you in Wyoming, please read this article regarding scams and WYDOT.

Scammers are tricky and often pose as goverment agencies -- including WYDOT -- to try to gain your trust in order to trick you into giving away personal information or money.
