As a real estate appraiser, when I speak to Realtor groups, the most common questions I’m asked are about how specific home characteristics will affect the sale price.

For example, the value effect of:
1 story versus 2 story
Traditional style vs Contemporary
Having only 2 bedrooms versus 3 bedrooms
Backing up to the freeway
The list is very long

At a recent meeting, I asked a group of Realtors to complete a survey, asking their opinions on those same questions. This short video is part of a series cut from a longer video that addresses the collective opinions of a group of Realtors compared to the appraisers’ research (statistically extracted from market data).
