By staying with us - it’s not just about downtown Las Vegas, The Strip, Fremont Street and all that the night life has to offer, there are so many day trip destinations too: Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, Mt. Charleston, Lee Canyon Ski Resort (Yes you can snow ski just outside of Las Vegas), Snow skiing not your thing? Then you can water ski at Lake Mead. Only 2 hours away you will find Zion National Park, Utah, one of the most enchanting places on the planet and of course you will be less than two hours from Death Valley. Death Valley is not just a single destination it has so many points of interest, some man made like Scotty’s Castle, (NOTE: Scotty’s Castle is currently closed to all but guided tours), Furnace Creek (Golf course, camp ground, restaurant and the location that I first saw a road runner) and many that attract the best examples of nature’s own handy work: Zabriskie Point (you’ll swear you’re on a different planet), Dante’s View, Badwater-Basin (Lowest point in North America), the Sand Dunes close to Stove Pipe Wells and many more scenic views. (Editor’s note: Ok technically speaking you would need more than a “day” to see everything that Death Valley has to offer, but you can come back next weekend….since you’re staying with AvenueWest Las Vegas)

Did you know…AvenueWest Las Vegas has a 3-step process to ensure your rental is exceptionally clean and move-in ready? Each step is completed by a different part of our dedicated team to ensure that nothing is missed. Fresh eyes every time!

We start with our move-out inspection. This is to look for any missing items, mechanical failures, any damage to the property or furnishings. This is the first look to document anything out of place.

Next, we do our turn clean. This is when we send in our team of detail-oriented cleaners. They start by fixing or replacing anything needed and going over everything with a fine-tooth comb to make sure everything is in working order. Are the water faucets flowing correctly? What about the icemaker? Is there a working oven light? Then, everything is cleaned top to bottom, even if it wasn’t used. You will be happy to find clean crisp linens and towels, a fully equipped kitchen down to the correct number of plates and glasses, impeccable floors, and counters you can eat off.

Finally, we have our move-in inspection. This final inspector checks to make sure everything is in working order, is spotless, to make sure it meets our standard of excellence and is what you would want in your own home. The last step to this process is the “5 second rule”, this is where the inspector stops in each room, gives a full 5 seconds to look and see if anything is off. Is the lampshade crooked? Do the lightbulbs all match? Does a pillow need fluffing? If it’s not perfect…it’s re-done.
