Denver is getting plenty of attention for falling home prices, price reductions and a shift toward a buyer's market. And yes, the numbers matter. Buyers have more choices, and sellers need to understand today's competition.

But here's what I want consumers to remember: a headline about Denver's median home price is not a valuation of your home.

The market isn't one big number. Location, property type, price range, condition and comparable sales all matter. A condo and a detached home can experience very different market conditions. The same is true of properties in different Colorado communities.

After nearly 30 years in Colorado real estate, I believe in looking at the actual data, being honest about what it says, and helping people make informed decisions without fear or hype.

If you're thinking about buying or selling, don't rely on a national headline to tell you what your particular property is worth.

FORT COLLINS, I’M BACK. ❤️

I’m currently working with buyers in Fort Collins, Colorado — and it’s a market I’m genuinely happy to be spending more time in.

WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY 🍎

A day late, but this one is personal for me.

My kids went through Jeffco Public Schools and Boulder Valley School District, so I’ve had the opportunity to experience these school communities not just as a real estate professional, but as a mom.

And I’m a proud graduate of Lake County High School in Leadville, Colorado. So I know firsthand that the teachers and schools in our communities become part of our story long after graduation day.

As a real estate professional, I also know that schools and the people who make them great are an important part of what makes a community feel like home.

Today, I’m saying THANK YOU to the teachers who show up, teach, encourage, challenge and invest in the next generation.
