What a privilege it has been to serve and get to know so many incredible firefighters from around the world over the past several months.

This crew from Australia has been especially fun to have around — they quickly became familiar faces in the store and, more importantly, some of Hank’s very best friends. 🐾

As fire camp begins to wind down, we’re feeling especially grateful for every firefighter and crew member who has spent time away from home working long days to help protect our valley and our community. We have truly enjoyed having you here, hearing your stories, sharing some laughs, and getting to know so many of you.

To all of the firefighters who have worked so hard to keep our valley safe: thank you. It has truly been our pleasure to serve you, and we hope you know how appreciated you are. ❤️

We love the lodge, but love it even more when we have awesome feedback. It’s our guests that we enjoy the most. It’s been such an honor hosting for nearly 20 years!

Lake Wenatchee - Please be aware of this warning!

Aviation assets will continue work on the Little Giant Fire as the inversion lifts and it becomes safe to fly.

Helicopters and regionally assigned scoopers will be dropping water and retardant ahead of or directly onto a blaze to slow its spread, cool down hotspots, and buy vital time for firefighters to build containment lines.

Water-scooping airplanes are currently utilizing Lake Wenatchee and Lake Chelan to collect water and may expand to other waterbodies. Please stay off of the water when aircraft are in use to allow firefighters to work safety.

Your awareness and cooperation help keep everyone safe and support effective wildfire response.
