A lot of people in Wilson County are touring new construction right now, so this is worth saying plainly.

The person at the desk in the model home is usually great at their job. Their job is representing the builder, getting the highest price with the fewest concessions. That's not shady, that's what they were hired to do.

The gap is that most buyers walk in assuming that person is neutral. They aren't, and nobody in that room is representing the buyer.

If you're planning to tour new construction this weekend, ask the builder what their agent registration policy is before you go. A lot of them want your agent on the first visit.
