This we are shining a light into food insecurity right in our own backyard.

🧡Our Team once again sponsored a Thanksgiving meal for a local family in need. The amount of families in need has increased since the pandemic, and in fact 1 in 6 children in America just don’t have food to eat everyday.

🔸We urge you to pause your holiday shopping today and to join us in support of Generosity Feeds and the The Replenish Foundation. This amazing organization brings communities together to provide meals for families struggling with food insecurities and we love working with them.

To ensure the health & safety of everyone, especially those who may be especially vulnerable to infection at this time, the Step Sisters have chosen to cancel their annual Ribbon Run 5k🏃‍♀️ this year. While we are sad to miss out on this fun community event, we still want to show our support🎗️ for those currently battling breast cancer! Our friend Michelle was fortunate to have had her surgery in January before the threat of COVID-19 came to our communities.🙏 Others were not as fortunate and are facing the challenge of not only having surgery or going through chemo, but also trying to stay as healthy as possible during these uncertain times.

🎆Now is the perfect time to !
Starting Monday, March 16th through Friday, April 24th we are having a donation collection to help the Step Sisters put together "Chemo Care Bags" for the patients they support, in honor of our dear friend Michelle Jackson who recently beat her Breast Cancer diagnosis (yay!🎉). We are looking for small travel size tissue packs, fuzzy slippers/socks, peppermint candies, lip balm, hand sanitizer, and gift cards for Uber, Amazon, Grocery Stores, etc.

📦 A Donation Box will be located in the Samson Properties Office in Chantilly (Front Desk) starting on Monday.

There are 2️⃣ additional ways to GIVE BACK to the Step Sisters organization this Spring! Join our Step Sisters 🎀Ribbon Run Team, "Team Tough as S'Hell" (April 25th in Brambleton) or make a monetary donation.

We had an amazing opportunity this week and just had to share! We snuggled all the puppies, walked/played with the dogs & even helped with some office/kennel chores🧺! Thank you to Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation for having us at the kennel this week. 💙💛 And the folks that give their time and money to keep this place running deserve a huge shout out as well! 🙌🏆
