In this video, my Brother Carlos was relentless in collecting donations and was determined to drive to Deridder (three times with essentials and food), despite how bad the gas shortages and road conditions were after both hurricanes in 2020. During those trips his bestfriend and co-worker Rachel tagged along to come help unknown families in our Deridder hometown because she noticed the compassion Carlos possessed to help others in his home town. Today, my Big Brother is facing a huge battle as his only son was gunned down and now fighting for his life in a Florida ICU.

Joseph Daniel “Danny” Reynolds, III, is a small business owner, property manager, and real estate agent in DeRidder, LA.

Danny graduated from DeRidder High School in 1993 and joined the LA National Guard, where he served from 1993-2001 as a 63H/Tracked Vehicle Repairer and achieved rank of SGT/E-5. Wearing the uniform was always a rewarding experience for him. He learned to be a leader and did so with a “lead by example” attitude. His training and experience gained him employment with Leir Seigler Services, LLC, and an opportunity to go to Europe and South Korea as a site supervisor, where he managed an inspection team of 22 people responsible for over 3,000 pieces of rolling stock. He returned to DeRidder in 2004 and began living his dream.

The City of DeRidder soon offered him opportunities. Within a year of being home, he owned and operated Reynolds Outdoor Advertising, LLC (2004-2012) and Bizzy Beez Cleaning Service, LLC (2007-2019). He currently owns and operates D3 Rentals, LLC, and is a multi-million-dollar producer with EXIT Real Estate Consultants.

In 2017, Danny was finally able to give back to the city that had provided him so much opportunity. He accepted the position of Public Works Director for the City of DeRidder, a position he held until 2019. Once again, he was able to “lead by example” with a team of nearly 40 people. This produced many positive changes for the city.

Danny is a member of the Beauregard/Vernon Sunrise Rotary Club, where he served as President from 2018-2019. When he isn’t working, he enjoys antique cars, antique shopping, and travelling. The things he loves the most in life are God, family, and friends. Danny shares his life with his wife Crystal and four daughters—Kailea, Destiny, Trinity, and Ava.
