I don't post often, and I wish I were better at staying connected! Since this is health-related, I thought it would be worth posting about. Recently a close family member of mine was diagnosed with an advanced case of lung cancer (doing well now thankfully!), and I wondered if it was related to radon by them spending significant time in their basement. Since I've been working from home more recently out of my basement, that concern became more present to me. I bought an Airthings radon monitor and levels increased to an unsafe level, so I decided to pull the trigger and finally install a radon mitigation system.

I had Utah Radon Services install the system and they have been very good to work with, as my house did not lend itself well to a perfect layout for such a system and they were patient with me as I took time to settle on the best approach. I recommend them as they do the majority of installs for such systems in the area and are very responsive and professional.
