Homeowner PSA: It’s important to know location of your homes septic system!!

The original plan for the day was to install a bocce ball court for our client. After working with the home owner, contacting the health department, and probing the ground, we still couldn’t locate the septic system. On the first load of the day, we located the septic tank, with the dump truck! That meant we had to pivot from our plan, pump the tank, clean out debris and mud, and prep the tank for a new lid with a riser. We also installed a new baffle in the tank. After all of that was done, we started back on the bocce ball court and got it completed! And that was all in just one day of work!
