🥶💙 Extreme Cold Is Here— Let’s Take Care of Each Other 💙🥶
With temperatures expected to dip as low as -20°, our biggest hope is that everyone is staying safe, warm, and comfortable. Weather like this can be tough on people and homes, so we wanted to share a few gentle reminders to help protect your pipes and avoid unnecessary stress.
Here are a few simple things that can make a big difference:
🚰 Let faucets drip slightly (especially on exterior walls)
🚪 Open cabinet doors under sinks to let warm air circulate
🌡️ Keep your thermostat set consistently, even overnight
🧣 Seal drafts around doors, windows, and pipes if you can
❄️ If you’re traveling, don’t turn the heat off completely
Frozen pipes can happen fast in extreme cold, and a little prevention now can save a lot of worry later. More than anything, please check in on neighbors, friends, and loved ones—especially those who may need extra help during weather like this.
If you ever have questions about your home or need a trusted local resource, We are lways happy to help. Stay warm, stay safe, and take good care of each other. 💙
