A slow Sunday, a smoker running all afternoon, and everyone gathered around the table.

Pulled pork, homemade mac & cheese, peach salad with candied pecans, jalapeño lime coleslaw, blueberry citrus spritzers, and peach cobbler for dessert.

Nothing fancy. Just good food, full plates, and the people you love most around the table. 🤍 These are my favorite moments of company.

Here is a little sneak peak in to the world of my nurse practitioner hat. Such a wonderful consult service for the adolescent and young adult cancer population 💙

At 24 years old, Suyin Cheam was studying for the Medical College Admission Test — not preparing to hear the words “you have cancer.”

Her stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis put her career and plans on pause. Her local oncologist never brought up fertility preservation, but her cancer was growing too quickly to delay treatment.

Today, that’s exactly what Moffitt Cancer Center is working to change.

Through a new Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) consult program, young patients now have a dedicated space to discuss fertility and appropriate referrals for genetics, psychosocial challenges and survivorship.

Now in remission, Suyin found her way to Moffitt after her treatment when she was looking for survivorship resources. For her, Moffitt gives her hope that it’s never too late and that building a family may still be possible.

Let’s hop on the dog aesthetic trend 🐾

I asked AI to define my home design style based on my dogs… and it fits.

One prefers tailored lines and thoughtful details.
The other insists on cozy corners, soft textures, and lamps always on.

Somehow it all works together — refined, cozy, traditional design that feels lived in.

And yes, they don’t shed — which helps my rugs, my pet-friendly home, and my OCD 😂
