One of the most impactful moments in this episode was hearing Ann Shilling explain the true role of a CASA volunteer.
A CASA is appointed by a judge to help investigate and advocate for the best interest of a child during difficult family and court situations. They speak with everyone involved, gather information, and provide the court with insight focused entirely on the child’s well-being.
For many children, a CASA becomes the one consistent person in their life during uncertain times. ❤️
Kelly Bonnell and Ann share powerful stories, the history of CASA in Park County, and why this mission continues to change lives today.
