✨ Real estate is about more than houses.

It’s about the people you meet along the way.

The greatest surprise of this career has been discovering that many of my clients didn’t just find a home…

They found a permanent place in my life.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Buyer & Cellar at Millbrook Playhouse and what a fun evening it was!

This one-man comedy is witty, heartfelt, and absolutely packed with laughs. The story follows a struggling actor who lands a unique job working in the fictional basement shopping mall of a certain superstar’s Malibu mansion. What unfolds is a clever, entertaining, and surprisingly touching performance that kept the audience engaged from beginning to end.

If you’re looking for a great night out this summer, I highly recommend grabbing a ticket and supporting our local theater. The talent on stage was fantastic, and it’s another reminder of the incredible arts and culture opportunities we have right here in our region.

Have you seen Buyer & Cellar yet? Let me know what you thought!

Before everyone carried a phone in their pocket, many homes had a special place just for the family telephone.

☎️ Telephone Niches became popular in homes built from the 1920s through the 1950s. These built-in wall recesses were often located in a hallway or near the kitchen and featured a small shelf for the telephone and a nook underneath for phone books, notepads, and messages.

Back then, there was usually only one phone for the entire household, so the telephone niche became a central communication hub. If you've ever toured an older home and wondered why there's a small built-in shelf in the hallway, chances are you've found one!

Today, homeowners have found creative new uses for these charming spaces:
✨ Charging stations
✨ Mini coffee bars
✨ Display shelves for antiques
✨ Family message centers

It's little details like these that make older homes so fascinating. They remind us that every home has a story to tell.

📞 Do you remember having a family phone mounted on the wall? Or did your home have a telephone niche?

Happy Pride Month!

Yes, I know it’s June 2nd.

I’ve built an entire career helping people find homes, but apparently I can’t find a calendar.

Anyway, I’m a day late, still gay, and wishing everyone a wonderful Pride Month. 🌈

📍Back in Central PA after a week in Orlando…and there really is no place like home.

Disney reminded me of something important about real estate.

People don’t just buy houses because of square footage.
They buy a feeling.

✨ The front porch where everyone gathers.
✨ The kitchen where holidays happen.
✨ The neighborhood that just feels right.
✨ The small-town magic you can’t find everywhere else.

After seeing all the big productions and themed experiences this week, it made me appreciate home even more — especially the charm we have right here in Central Pennsylvania.

Now excuse me while I mentally recover from vacation mode and catch up on everything I missed this week. 😂

So tell me:
If your home had a “theme park attraction name”… what would it be? 👀

🏡✨ Somewhere in North Central Pennsylvania… a front porch light is about to turn on for the very first time for a new family.

That’s my favorite part of real estate.

Not the paperwork.
Not the contracts.
Not the numbers.

The moment a house finally becomes:
HOME.
