Our property management company is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Worker who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on our properties, as well as interacting with tenants and addressing their concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections of properties and identifying any issues or needed repairs
- Performing maintenance tasks such as painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, and basic HVAC repairs
- Responding to tenant requests for repairs or assistance in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work completed and materials used
- Conducting regular preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
- Communicating effectively with tenants to understand their needs and concerns and provide excellent customer service
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
