Being a homebuyer is hard right now, but being flexible and keeping a positive mindset can go a long way. This buyer came to me as a referral from a good friend of mine. We submitted a strong offer but then got beat out with no counters given to anyone. Ugh. Long story short the listing agent ended up representing the buyer, and they closed at the same price as what my client offered. Gah! Well instead of being discouraged, my buyers did the opposite and forged forward and we were in escrow within a week of losing out on the first property. Just closed on this recently and happy to report we locked things for under list price also!

the city is a changing landscape. if you don't slow down and enjoy the moment, you might not catch all the changes. this one was definitely worth slowing down and noticing. i grew up a block away from this home and have walked by it many times. my dog has even pooped on this front lawn before 🤫
