Summer 2026 was good to the Riggs Family.
Thanks for the memories.

Here are a few pictures of our journey.

- We bought a minivan. The kids named it Fluffy. We love it!
- Women love a man in a van. (Not really)
- Fluffy took us to Destin, Florida to visit my family.
- We got to see my 96-year-old grandma, Betty June.
- We flew to California and took the kids to DisneyLand.
- Laguna Beach is incredible.
- Then, Fluffy took us to Asheville, North Carolina.
- Then to Charleston, South Carolina. Kids love the beach.
- I got to help a lot of clients buy houses.
- We also explored the Newport Aquarium near Cincinnati.
- And ole Fluffy took us up to Indianapolis. The children’s museum is world class.
- We ate tons of popsicles.
- And soaked up every moment of being together.
- Now, Crew is in her first year of kindergarten.

Summer of 2026. Thanks for the memories.
You were very special.

Talk about a great visit down memory lane!

The KY State Fair starts today! So many great memories in my 14 years at the fair -- meeting our viewers during WDRB Day at the fair. It was always a wonderful reminder journalism mattered, people were affectionately watching the show, and people truly cared. We would relive moments that happened during the show and get to hear what people loved and didn’t love about the show. They also always wanted to see crazy Jude. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

WDRB Day at the Fair this year is August 28th from 2:30 to 5:30. Heck, I might just bring the kids. I won’t be behind the booth. Just walking around and taking in the sights, sounds, and visiting with old friends.

My children are the greatest joys of my life.
