If you are preparing to sell, be sure to get your listing photos taken before you begin hanging holiday decor. While tasteful holiday decorations are acceptable during showings, you don't want your listing photos to feel too seasonal or outdated.

It's Kentucky Derby week here in Louisville. We had a fun morning at Churchill Downs watching the Oakes and Derby horses train. The event is called Dawn at the Downs. It is early, starts before 7am. It is also a free event that happens a few mornings this week. A must-do on your Derby week list.

The Derby horses are the ones with the yellow mats with their names on them. The Oakes contenders have the pink mats. It was a little chilly but a good time.
