Face your fears & send it.. After messing my shoulder up last August, I was 80% healed and figured, let’s do a race. I picked—Grinding Stone. My plan? Send it, but stay smart to avoid getting hurt again, and bail if it got too gnarly. But guess what? I climbed rock walls I never thought were possible on a dirtbike, jumped bigger rocks than I thought I could… and I’m already pumped to do it again. Best part, I didn’t get hurt, and had the courage to quit when climbs got above my skill level.

For 14 years, I have be searching for this picture. Why? Because I drove this trail 14yrs ago in a rented jeep, and could not believe the red in the rock was, and how skinny the trail was. FRANKLY I felt I was one wrong move from death... . In that rental jeep, driving up that hill, my passagers screaming, was crazy, when we got right to the top, I could not keep going, since it snowed over.. So I backed over 3/4 of a mile, down the hill, with my seatbelt on, hoping I did not die.. Heather and the passengers followed down walking.. Worst part all the pics I took dissappeared, since my memory card froze up. Lesson.. Filling your shorts when your scared is cool because it creates great stories and memories. @ Red Cone 4x4 Road

Fun to show what I've been learning this summer.. How to fly with the hawks! What u can't see from the video is that I was level 8-9 😱 scared.. Getting a thermal right off the launch is not normal, and I'm not really used to the hot roady air, since most time I fly is with a motor and smooth buttery air! After bumping around for 14 minutes, I lost my focus to stay in the thermals, so I landed without incident.. Always fun to spike your adrenaline, and mom I do have a parachute up there with me in case it really gets crazy. Thanks to a great instructor teaching me a new skill, and getting some healthy sky crack!
