Thornapple Inc. is seeking an individual with several years of experience for high profile commercial lawn maintenance. Job duties may include, but are not limited to, mowing (zero-turn and ride on), trimming, edging, pruning, operating blowers and snowplowing. Looking for a motivated team player. We are a small company with many loyal customers and valuable employees who has been providing services in West Michigan for over 30 years. Must have dependable transportation and a good driving record. Must be available at least 40 hours per week. Retirement benefits available.

Happy fall everyone! As we look into the forecast, and consider the late fall we've experienced, we have decided to extend our curbside leaf pickup for one additional week. November 29 will be our last official curbside leaf pickup date. This is only the third time in 25 years we have offered this service after Thanksgiving. Please take advantage and have your leaves at the edge of the street.

Thornapple Inc. is seeking individuals to clear sidewalks in the Greater Grand Rapids area. Must be reliable, have a smart phone, and be able to read and follow a route. Applicant must be able to load and unload snow blowers, use shovels, or operate a snow removal vehicle including plow UTV’s or Jeep’s. We are willing to work around your schedule during the daytime, however, you must be available to work nights. We are typically finished between 6 and 7 AM. This position could lead to summer employment as well. We are offering a starting pay of $25- $32/ hour depending on experience with 10% guaranteed season end bonus.

Thornapple Inc. is seeking individuals to plow snow in the Greater Grand Rapids area. Must be reliable, have a smart phone, and be able to read and follow a route. Openings are for plow truck driver, skid steer, loader, and UTV operators. We are willing to work around your schedule during the daytime, however, you must be available to plow nights. We are typically finished between 6 and 7 AM. This position could lead to summer employment as well. We are offering a starting pay of $23- $30/ hour depending on experience with 10% guaranteed season end bonus. 15% performance bonus as well for a total of up to 25%.
We have several sidewalk tech positions available as well. Same criteria will apply. Starting pay of $25-$32/ hour.

Job will transition to winter snow removal services. Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable record. Starting pay of up to $19/per hour for lawn care based on experience. Snow related positions are $22-$30/ hour. Located on Cascade Road in Lowell Township.

We are offering a starting pay of $23- $25/ hour with up to a 25% season end bonus.
We have a sidewalk tech position as well. Same criteria will apply. Starting pay of $20-$25/ hour.

shop work including equipment maintenance/ repair
pruning
mowing
working with irrigation crews
small landscape projects
snowplowing/ salting
We understand life has become more challenging and are willing to work around someones schedule as much as possible.
